Our Facilities

R.S. Harritan operates and maintains a 6,000 square foot office with a 24,000 square foot fabrication facility located at 3280 Formex Road, Richmond, VA with easy access to all major roadways.

Payroll, inventory, and job cost accounting is accomplished utilizing an IBM 9150, 9.1 gigabyte multiprocessor mainframe. The operating system is a Versyss construction integrated accounting/job cost system. We also utilize a Dell Power edge 500 SC Pentium III as a base server. We have a 15 PC network system for estimating and communicating with our parent company, EMCOR.

A Project Manager is assigned to each individual project and the client is informed of his education, background, and experience. Each Project Manager is fully acquainted with the technical aspects of the project. Through inter-company procedures, the Project Manager knows and fully understands his authority, responsibility, and duties to the client and to the company.

Ductwork and fittings are fabricated on a Cybermation computer driven plasma cut machine. Once inputted, duct fittings can be stored electronically and fabricated and shipped in the proper sequence to meet even the most demanding schedule. Waste is virtually eliminated due to the computer’s ability to automatically lay out and cut duct and fittings, optimizing metal usage.
